Precious Metals Storage
You can get Gold Avenue to ship your precious metals right to your home, or if you prefer a different option, you can take advantage of their secure storage facility. These metals are stored in a secured vault, but they aren’t inside the banking system. They are put in a storage facility and fully secured and allocated in Swiss AAA vaults.
When Gold Avenue stores your precious metals, you have the luxury of experiencing 100% confidence and security. Not only are they safe in the vault, but they are also completely and fully insured. This protects against theft, damage, or some other type of loss.
If you ever need to sell your precious metals that are being stored within the storage facility, you have this option. And even better, they will not charge you a commission when they buy back your metals. But no matter what, you always maintain control of your precious metals even if they are secure within the vault, and you can have them ship them to you at any time if you feel so inclined.
Do I Need to Know about Any Gold Avenue Red Flags?
We believe that it’s of the utmost importance to pay close attention to what previous customers had to say about a business to find out how they operate. You can glean a lot of information from reviews made by previous customers. This will tell you how the business functions and it will also teach you a little more about how they perform customer service.
Reading website descriptions can be misleading at times and only tell you what the company wants you to learn. But reviews written by actual customers, on the other hand, help you gain tremendous insight into a company’s operations, in which you’ll learn how they will treat you if you ever decide to become their customer.
As I put together this Gold Avenue review, I decided to pay close attention to previous reviews and I looked them up on the Better Business Bureau website. I also looked them up on Trustpilot, Trustlink, and the BCA too. Using these four review sites is important because they are trusted, well-established, and respected on the Internet.
Oddly enough, I struck out three out of four times when I searched for reviews from previous Gold Avenue customers. The only site that had any available reviews wasTrustpilot.
Just because a company doesn’t have a lot of reviews online, this doesn’t mean that they are bad or have a negative reputation or anything sinister like that. But it does take a little bit away from your confidence, because it’s always good to see many people on different websites touting a business and talking wonderfully about the way the company operates.
Like I said, there was nothing on the BBB, BCA, or Trustlink at the time of this writing. But on Trustpilot, Gold Avenue had a 4.6 out of 5 rating based on 676 reviews, which is really great if you ask me.
Gold Avenue: Is It a Scam?
Many people can’t help but wonder if Gold Avenue is a scam or not. Based on everything that I uncovered, I can honestly say that this company is legit and it isn’t a scam.
But, after looking over all of this company’s offerings, I can say that Gold Avenue isn’t the ideal place to buy precious metals. The lack of reviews on every review website but Trustpilot definitely didn’t make me feel great right off the bat.
Although, I did say that a lack of reviews doesn’t mean a company is terrible or bad or anything like that. But it just hurts the confidence of the consumer.
After combing through their website, I noticed one major negative right away. They do not provide their customers with precious metals IRA services. The top way to invest in precious metals is to do so through a self-directed IRA. This provides the account holder with massive tax benefits and other advantages as well.
Even though you may not want to open a precious metals IRA at this point, you may change your thinking in the future. So, you’re better off sticking with a company that can get you started with a gold IRA rollover as opposed to one that doesn’t offer this service.
All in all, I’m more comfortable recommending other precious metals companies as opposed to Gold Avenue for the reasons I mentioned above. Other companies that I like are accredited with the BBB, have tremendous customer reviews, and they offer precious metals IRA services.

Final Thoughts
Are you planning on investing in precious metals? It’s likely a really good idea to do so to improve your financial future. Nonetheless, we think investing with Gold Avenue isn’t the best idea. They aren’t accredited with the BBB, they do not have IRA services, and there are too few reviews online about them. You’re better off choosing a different precious metals company with IRA friendly options as a better alternative.
